Binary Refinery offers free, plain-language seminars to help everyday New Zealanders stay safe in a world where images, audio, and video can be fabricated with ease.

We focus on two groups:

• Schools & parents - AI safety, deepfake awareness, and supporting young people.

• Seniors & caregivers - staying safe from AI-enabled scams and impersonation.

These sessions are practical, calm, and empowering - designed to build digital resilience, not fear.

2. Supporting Organisations Working to Reduce Digital Harm

We contribute financially to organisations that:

• Combat online abuse and non-consensual imagery.

• Protect children and young people from digital exploitation.

• Support seniors vulnerable to financial and identity fraud.

• Strengthen public understanding of misinformation and digital safety.

This includes both New Zealand and international organisations whose work has measurable impact.
